Knit Dog Sweaters

During colder months, your dog will need a cozy dog sweater to stay warm. Especially Pitbulls, French Bulldogs, and other big dogs with thinner coats or those who are older or not feeling their best can benefit from sporting a stylish sweater or jacket during cooler weather. However, keep in mind that dogs with thicker fur can handle the cold like champs and may end up feeling too toasty in a sweater.

In chilly weather, it's a good idea to consider dog sweaters for your furry friends. Especially for Pitbulls, French Bulldogs, big dogs, and even puppies, sweaters can provide added warmth and comfort. Older or ailing dogs and those with thinner coats particularly benefit from the extra layer during cooler times. However, be cautious with dogs that have thicker fur as they might overheat when wearing a sweater.

To find the perfect dog sweater, measure your pup's neck girth, chest girth, and back length. Wrap a tape measure around your dog's neck where a collar would sit, leaving enough space for two fingers. Repeat this for the chest, using the two-finger technique. Measure the length from the base of the neck to the tail's start for the back measurement. If your Pitbull, French Bulldog, big dog, or puppy is between sizes, opt for the larger one for a comfy fit.
