Q: Why do dogs need boots?
A: Dog paws are like our hands and feet; they're made up of many tiny bones, tendons, muscles, and ligaments, layers of fat for warmth and cushioning. When our hands and feet are exposed to snow, salt, freezing temperatures and rough terrains they are likely to get chapped and damaged.

Q: When should I use dog boots?
A: You can use boots to keep the paws clean during rainy days. You can consider using boots when the temperature drops and there is snow on the ground, especially if there is salt and other corrosive chemicals on the ground.

Q: How do I measure my dog's paws?
A: Please use our how to measure guide or watch the video on our product page which explains this in detail. You basically need to measure the width of the paw and follow our size guide.

Q: Are your dog boots suitable for all breeds and sizes?
A: Our smallest dog boot is suitable for dogs from 15lbs / 6.8kg and up, the largest dog boot will fit dogs up to 150lbs / 68kg depending on paw size. Generally speaking, our boots are designed for larger dogs with stronger stepping force. If your dog is under 10lbs / 4.5kb then these boots are not suitable.

Q: Do your dog boots stay on during active play?
A: We designed this boot with two velcro straps and a toggle around the opening. With 3 layers of stabilization, this is one of the most secure dog boots on the market and it should stay on as long as the sizing is correct.

Q: How do I train my dog to wear boots?
A: Your dog may not enjoy wearing boots when you first put it on and may walk funny. Give your dog treats and positive reinforcement, throw toys around for them to run and fetch, within a few minutes your dog will forget that they are wearing boots.

Q: Are your dog boots waterproof or water-resistant?
A: These dog boots are water-resistant, snow and water will not seep through the surface unless the boot is put under water for extended periods of time. The boots will stay dry in regular snow and rain wear.

Q: How do I clean and maintain the dog boots?
A: The surface can be spot cleaned. You can also soak the boots in luke warm water with regular soap and detergent then rinse with clean water. Gently wring out excess water before hanging to dry. Do not use a dryer or direct heat source, as this can damage the boots.

The quality of the boots are great. Also Agatha did a great job trying to help me. But honestly the boots don't stay on. We couldn't get one block away without them slipping so bad that my dog was tripping on them. At the end of the day I'm not satisfied with them. We tried two different sizes and thought we had it figured out but not to be. It's sad because I loved the quality of the boots but ultimately I can't use them. Another $40 wasted.

Geweldig, blije hond hadden we wel gehoopt maar toch niet verwacht . Hond heeft erg last van zijn poten wondjes en wou bijna niet meer wandelen over een niet geasfalteerde weg ! Nu kan hij weer gewoon spelen en rennen ! Ben benieuwd want heb nu ook de zomer schoenen gekocht ! Enige nadeel is dat als hij de rivier inloopt ze uitzetten en dus los gaan zitten wellicht de andere schoenen beter ….. word vervolgd

Bought these over a year ago and they were waterproof. Recent pairs purchased are not, even though it says they are on website. The height of the boot and double straps helps remind my 12 year old staffy to place his back feet properly- he has ataxia in back legs and arthritis . It’s just a shame his feet get soggy walking on wet grass at this time of year. Spraying them with waterproofing has helped a bit but still got soggy toes yesterday. You should change description on website to avoid disappointment.

The boots looked great. The materials used in the construction appeared good quality. Unfortunately they wouldn't stay on ! My greyhound had to have a toe amputated, so I thought these would be the answer to help protect his wound when we went for a walk. Only two minutes into the walk the boot came off. I tried again and did put the straps on tighter, but you can only have them so tight ! The boot kept coming off, so was rubbish!
